How accurate is the instant estimate?
It's a well-informed guide based on what you tell us and the photos you share. Your firm offer is confirmed after a quick inspection — in person at our London shop, or from your photos. Final offers can land higher or lower depending on the device's true condition.
Cash or store credit — what's the difference?
Take the cash offer and walk away paid, or choose store credit worth about 20% more that you can put toward any repair, upgrade, or product at CVN. Credit is the better value if you're planning your next device or a fix.
Do you buy broken or non-working computers?
Yes. Even if it won't power on or has a cracked screen, it likely has parts worth money. Pick "Poor / Not working" in the estimator and we'll still make an offer — for parts or refurbishment.
What happens to my personal data?
Every device we purchase is data-wiped free of charge using certified secure-erase methods before it's refurbished or recycled. You're welcome to wipe it yourself first too — just let us know.
What should I bring, and how do I get paid?
Bring the device, its charger, the original box if you still have it, and a piece of ID. Once we confirm the offer we pay on the spot by cash or e-transfer, or apply your store credit to your account immediately.
What if you decide not to buy it?
No pressure and no fee. If it's not something we can buy, we'll recycle it responsibly for free so it doesn't end up in a landfill — or you're welcome to take it back home.
